Senior Lecturer

University Centre Warrington, part of the University of Chester, is seeking an inspiring Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing to support our nursing programmes and contribute to our mission of delivering high quality, inclusive education that positively shapes our region and communities. Our modern digitally enabled Warrington campus provides an outstanding environment for teaching and student support underpinned by a strong commitment to professional practise and real-world learning.

Key responsibilities:

 Deliver engaging practice informed teaching across our mental health nursing programmes.

 To support learners in both academic and clinical environments promoting an inclusive and supportive student experience.

 Contribute to curriculum development programme quality and collaborative partnerships with regional health and social care providers.

Engage in research scholarship or professional practice aligned with the university's priorities

About you:

- A registered mental health nurse (NMC)

- A strong teaching background or advanced clinical experience.

- A commitment to student success and practice-based education

- Masters level qualification

- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g.HEA)
