Do you enjoy leading teams, improving services, and working collaboratively to make a real difference to students&#39; lives?</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Chester Medical School are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the team as a Student Engagement and Support Coordinator; to lead the delivery of student engagement, wellbeing, support, and student voice activities across our MBChB programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the student experience within a growing Medical School.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Reporting to the Head of Operational Delivery, you will lead a team of Student Engagement and Support Officers and oversee a wide range of activities that support student success, engagement, wellbeing, and progression. This includes induction activities, attendance monitoring, pastoral support processes, student voice initiatives and managing referrals to specialist support services.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will work closely with academic, clinical and professional service colleagues across the school and wider faculty to develop and implement initiatives that enhance the student experience. You will also use data and insight to identify trends, monitor engagement, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Lead and develop a team of Student Engagement and Support Officers.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Coordinate student engagement, support, wellbeing, and student voice activities.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Monitor student attendance, engagement, welfare, professionalism, and fitness to practise concerns.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Manage and analyse student experience data and identify trends.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Work collaboratively with Student Services, Chester Students&#39; Union, Careers and Employability teams, and other stakeholders.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Develop and improve processes, systems, and projects that enhance the student experience.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Support committees, working groups, and strategic initiatives across the School and University.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Deputise for the Head of Operational Delivery when required.</li></ul><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About You</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.             <p style="margin-left:0cm;">The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Placement Coordinator to join Chester Medical School and play a key role in the delivery of high-quality clinical placements for our medical students.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Reporting to the Head of Operational Delivery, you will lead the day to day management of placement allocation and capacity management processes, ensuring students are placed in appropriate, high-quality learning environments.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will oversee a team of Placement Officers, support the development of placement systems and processes, and work closely with colleagues across the University and external placement providers to deliver an excellent student experience.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Leading and overseeing placement allocation and capacity management activities.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Managing and developing Placement Officers, including coaching, objective setting and performance reviews.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Monitoring placement capacity, quality and student attendance.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Supporting the development and implementation of processes, systems and service improvements.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Acting as a key point of contact for placement-related enquiries, providing advice and guidance to staff and stakeholders.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Building and maintaining strong relationships with placement providers and external partners.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Supporting Placement Committees and working groups through the preparation of reports, agendas, minutes and action tracking.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Contributing to the ongoing development of placement systems and processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.</li></ul><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About You</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will have an understanding of placement allocation and placement management systems, alongside strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:</p><ul type="disc"><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience of providing high-level administrative support within a complex organisation.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience of managing or supervising staff.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience of building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience of collating and analysing data and producing reports.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience of implementing process improvements.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and supporting continuous improvement.</li></ul><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued development of Chester Medical School, working alongside colleagues who are committed to delivering an excellent student experience and maintaining high standards of medical education.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true">We encourage applications from a diverse range of applicants.
