  • The role will require you to work both on your own and as part of a team (the sensory panel).

  • You will often be required to record your answers to product tests directly onto a computer. (Experience of using a computer or mobile device would be an advantage although full training will be given).

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideally, you will have an interest in food and drink products.

  • No experience of sensory analysis is necessary as full training will be provided.

  • Good sensory skills (e.g. sense of taste / smell) are very important for this role and will be tested during an initial screening session.

  • You must feel comfortable working as part of a panel and be able to communicate well with others in the group.

  • You must not have any dietary restrictions e.g. vegetarian

  • You must not have any food intolerances / allergies e.g. nut allergy, coeliac).
