We are seeking to appoint two Residential and Stores Assistants, to each work 30 hours per week each on a flexible rota, working no more than five consecutive days. The role will include occasional weekend work.

Domestic Services is responsible for the cleaning of both residential and non-residential buildings. Domestic Services is a high performing, customer focused team ensuring high standards of cleaning are consistently delivered throughout the year.

This role will assist in managing and maintaining stock levels of cleaning chemicals and equipment, white goods and paper products. You will assist with deliveries and collating stock to be distributed to cleaning cupboards across the Campus. You will be required to clean internal and external areas throughout the University’s residential properties eg windows and doors. Removing recycling and general waste from residential internal bin stores to designated collection points will be a key part of this role.

The successful candidates will have an approachable, common sense approach to work and the ability to work well within a team.  You must also have relevant experience and demonstrate a willingness to undertake training and development as required by the University. You must be computer literate too.
