This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Social and Political Science as a Lecturer in Counselling. You will have a Doctorate/PhD or be willing to achieve this within an agreed timescale and have current or very recent counselling practice experience.

You will be expected to contribute fully to the needs of the undergraduate BA Counselling Skills programme and the Department in terms of teaching and learning as well as research and knowledge transfer and have a good understanding of quality assurance and curriculum development. Opportunities will exist for some teaching and contribution to activities on our postgraduate programmes.

We are seeking a colleague who is committed to the student-experience and is passionate and productive in terms of research, knowledge transfer and scholarship.
