The Department of Biological Sciences is one of the largest departments in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Life Sciences within the University of Chester. We teach a variety of programmes including BSc Biology, BSc Bioveterinary Science, BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare and BSc Zoology. We also have active MRes and PhD research programmes.
We now have an opportunity of a post for a Lecturer in Biology. You should hold a relevant/ higher degree and ideally have previous teaching experience in higher education and the ability to teach across a range of programmes and modules. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an active research background in their chosen field. We welcome applicants with expertise within any area of biology but those with experience in human biology/ biochemistry, toxicology or molecular biology would be particularly welcome.
