The Department of Theology and Religious Studies is seeking to appoint a lecturer in theology and philosophy who will assist with the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Christian theology and help deliver and develop the Department’s new undergraduate programme in Philosophy, Ethics and Religion.
You will bring scholarly expertise in theology and philosophy, and contribute to the philosophy strands of our TRS curriculum and help teach modules in both contextual and systematic theology. Joining a large and thriving community of scholars dedicated to excellence in teaching and research, you will demonstrate a high level of teaching skill, be highly motivated and resourceful, and be committed to producing high quality research. You will hold, or be very near completion, a PhD in Christian theology, theology and philosophy or related area, and will have a demonstrable ability in academic administration.
