Description

The University of Chester is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Web Developer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of web based practice assessment and evaluation systems for a range of healthcare professional students across eleven universities within the North of England.

Based on the Birkenhead Campus, you will to contribute to training materials to support a range of users including students, academics, clinicians and managers in order to provide information management and statistical data to a range of stakeholders. This is an exciting time to join the project, as the next step is to branch into a range of other practice related fields, ranging from education and engineering to art therapy.

You will have experience within a Web Development role, including experience of programming using Object Oriented PHP and MySQL, in addition to knowledge of HTML5, Javascript / JQuery, CSS, W3C Standards and other authoring and enhancing tools.

You will have an ability to problem solve, with excellent communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of Higher education and/or Health Service provision would be an advantage but not essential. The University actively encourages continued professional development.
