The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for 2 X Student Money Advisers to join the University of Chester’s Student Services department
With a range of support offered across our sites, our Financial Support service provides a central place for information, advice and guidance about key financial areas which can impact a student’s university experience.
Working as a Student Money Adviser you will join a busy student facing team to support with a variety of money related areas:
• Financial Hardship
• Funding
• Money Management skills
• Debt management
You will need to be calm and confident, with strong communication skills as the support we provide can range from advising on effective money management tools through to more complex issues which require immediate support.
This role would particularly suit you if you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and support, and have experience in:
- Working in a busy financial support environment e.g. financial services, advice and guidance
- Investigating and managing complex enquiries from initial contact through to resolution or referral

At this time we are looking for applicants able to work full-time (Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm, Friday 9am – 4.30pm) based at our Exton Park campus in Chester.
