Description

The University of Chester seeks to appoint an International Officer to work as part of the International Centre. The role will mainly cover the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.  

The role holder will be part of the International Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions team and will report to the International Marketing & Recruitment Manager. The role will contribute to the University’s overall international student recruitment targets by taking primary responsibility for student recruitment activity, lead generation and conversion of prospective students in their assigned markets to agreed recruitment targets.

Making full and creative use of the resources available to them, the role holder will build new and manage existing relationships with stakeholders, including overseas institutions, recruitment agents and sponsors.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent qualification, with previous experience of working in a similar or related field within Higher Education, as well as possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to speak to a wide range of audiences. Good analytical and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also essential.
