Description

Chester Medical School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Pharmacology/Pharmacy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our growing programmes in Pharmacology, Medicine, Biomedical Science and Medical Science.

Role and Responsibilities:
•    Provide a supportive learning environment for students, helping them develop both graduate-level and subject-specific skills.
•    Deliver teaching in pharmacology related areas.
•    Contribute to independent and collaborative research activities, with opportunities to work with NHS partners and other health providers.
•    Supervise research dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Qualifications:
•    A good first degree in Pharmacology/Pharmacy /Biomedical Science or a related field.
•    A Master’s level qualification is essential.
•    PGCert in Higher Education or Fellowship of the HEA (or willingness to achieve this).

Experience and Skills:
•    Expertise to deliver lectures in Pharmacology and related subjects.
•    Previous teaching experience in higher education.
•    Ability to collaborate with colleagues, lead module and programme development, and provide high-quality pastoral support to students.
